Cool Concert Fashion

Processed with VSCO with c1 preset

Its summer time which means there’s millions of concerts to venture out to. It could be a large music festival or a single artist coming to your town, but either way your gonna need a cute outfit to get the perfect Insta pic. If your in a fashion crisis and need some help on what to wear keep reading…

Tops

Its usually very hot at concerts during the summer so crop tops, tube tops, and tank tops are your best bet. Above are some of my favorite options that I found in my closet. The off the shoulder crop top is from Brandy Melville and was $22.  Brandy is the perfect place to look for concert outfits because they have such good quality & comfortable clothes.  They are one size, a perfect fit for many ,and really work if you wanna look good at a concerts.  Another option is a crop top like the floral one above from American Eagle. The best part about this is the color since in the summer I’m finally tan and no longer Casper the friendly ghost  I wanna show my tan off by wearing colors like white & light yellow to enhance my tan. The next two tube tops  are my personal favorites to wear.  The pink one is a bandana tube top from American Eagle, and the striped one is the Jenny top from Brandy Melville for $16. I love these because they’re  simple but you can spruce them up with accessories, and the American Eagle one is a fun twist on a bandana by making it into a top.

Bottoms

Bottoms could either be the staple to your look or they could just be enhancing your top. The flowy black and white shorts from Forever 21, and the John Galt striped pants would be staples in an outfit.  You want them to be the main focus in the look by pairing them with simple tops like a plain white or black tube top. The Lee shorts, and the ripped American Eagle jean skirt should compliment the top. I would pair these bottoms with any of the tops from the section above. Also, if you want some cheap shorts I thrifted some $6 Lee bell bottom pants, cut them into shorts, fringed them with a needle, and then made some little holes. There are so many pairs of pants at thrift stores that can easily be made into concert ready shorts for cheap!!!

Shoes

My favorite concert shoes have to be cute sneakers since there is a lot of walking involved in your night.  Some of my favorites are white converse for $50, black Vans for $55, and the white with silver accents UGG shoes for $110. These shoes are all comfy enough that your feet won’t be killing you by the end of the night, and there also cute :).  If your feet can handle a sandal,  I would say to wear one you feel matches best with your outfit.  Above,  I put a pair of grey Birkenstocks for $134. I know birks are a little pricey but they’re  so worth it since there so cute & comfy.

Accessories

Accessories may be little but they can really make your outfit . Right now, hoops are super popular so you know they had to be included in this post. Shown above,  I have my two favorites hoops, both from Brandy Melville ( circles, stars). I really love the star hoops just because they’re unique and can add spice to any look. Next, are necklaces which just like the bottoms can be statements or enhance your look.  One of them is a little Tiffany necklace, and the other is a navy choker with a pearl from Ron Jon Surf Shop. Another piece of jewelry to wear is an anklet. The ones shown are a grey one with spikes from a street stand in Soho, a tan one with a blue stone from Ron Jon surf shop, and two that I made with string and beads. String bracelets/anklets are really cheap & easy to make. It only takes about $12 to  buy 20 sets of string and letter beads. My friend Keeley,  taught me how to make the bracelets and they are cool and trendy.   The last accessories are my favorites… ringsssss. I love collecting rings so much since they can add a touch of girly-ness to every look . I have pictured my 4 favorites a love ring, a wave ring, an arrow ring, and a little diamond pinky ring. I choose to wear silver but you also can wear gold or rose gold, its up to you!

Hair

I know hair isn’t part of an outfit, but I think it’s the most important part of your look.  Her is a little bonus of hairstyle ideas for concerts.  Of course, there’s the just leave it down option and this would keep it plain and simple, you could add some curls or straighten some pieces too. If you wanna do a little somethin more I’d do a simple braid or a top knot. This will just add a little flair, and you can even add a bandana with the top knot if you’re feeling extra. Lastly,  there is always space buns!  Adding glitter into your hair part could be a cool touch too (choose a glitter that compliments your main color in your look).

I hope you girlies got some outfit inspiration ,  now get out there and show off your style at a concert near you!
